2013 in Pictures
It’s a way of reviewing the year but also a way of counting our blessings,
remembering the goodness in the everyday,
the meals shared, the miles traveled,
another year of blessings even amidst the days of pain.
All is forgotten when you see the joy,
relive the good,
and say thank you for another year of life experienced.
Here are a few of those memories–season by season.
From winter snow storms,
to princesses running through a botanical garden on a winter’s day,
we survive winter by keeping warm together, thankful and hopeful for Spring’s return.
From late spring snow storms,to breaking the matzah bread in our family passover dinner, Spring is for celebrating. We take a magical trip to one of the happiest places ever. Traveling the world in that one place.
So many snapshots of smiles that Spring.
My outdoor retreat, for writing or reading, or soaking in the summer sun (forget the housework, I say).We hop in the car for an adventure (Rocky mountain style),where we hike and play with the horses, and witness His creation anew.
Summer is for skipping, for relaxing, for just being.
His creation–showing off in brilliant colors
Though we remember our loss, we venture into life wholly, the joy and pain together.
